Viola's Visit To Turkey 2012
As a long-standing member of the International Society on the Prevention of
Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) as well as President of the American Professional
Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC), Viola participated in the XIXth
ISPCAN International Congress in Istanbul, Turkey. On September 12, 2012, she presented on
Interviewing Young and Reluctant Children to Assess for Sexual Abuse
to an international group of mental health and medical professionals.
Viola enjoyed the opportunity to visit with colleagues from around the world and address their mutual goal of ending child maltreatment. Istanbul is a beautiful and culturally rich city. Among her many experiences was a walking tour call Istanbul Eats, in which she sampled many of Turkey's delights.
